The root to how you accomplish this, begins with your mindfulness practice.
Becoming a present person is a daily practice. Using your senses to help promote your ability to stay in the moment and not engage with your urge to avoid, runaway, or fight is dependent on a mindful approach. Mindfulness is a way of living, being, and connecting. It takes exploration in finding what works and we are here to guide you to getting in the zone and discovering a greater state of ease and control.
Trauma is experienced on many different levels. Whether you are struggling with complex trauma, childhood attachment issues, having experienced a traumatic event, or a combination of the above, EMDR therapy can help reduce the intensity of how trauma is experienced. It is a comprehensive approach that works through the many parts associated with triggers, cognitions, emotions, body sensations, and images connected to the experience. With use of bilateral stimulation, we will install more adaptive thinking patterns, and reduce the intensity of what is felt from trauma. We can go into attending to trauma with as much detail as you feel able to and find a calm space to reduce dissociative tendencies.
Connecting with grief can be a very vulnerable place. Working with the stages of grief to help you cope with the loss of a loved one, life transitions, or even seeking acceptance of reality. We provide a supportive and understanding environment where you can explore your feelings of grief, gain insights into your behavior, and develop strategies to manage your emotions and move onward.
The core of your being is in the foundation of your values system. It is an approach of self-discovery and connecting with your purpose, meaning, and perception. Exploring what helps guide you to live intentionally through your core beliefs, can reduce the aftermath of choices made that tend to land in feelings of shame, guilt, and despair. Working with your spirituality becomes a guided effort and teaches you how to take control of really difficult struggles, to become your highest self.

Reiki is a practice originating from Japanese wellness techniques and has been utilized for over a century. It focuses on energy work connecting with spiritual wisdom and life force energy. It helps promote healing and reduces stress through working with pathways in our systems called chakras and meridians. Reiki energy work can pass directly through the organs and tissues of the body along with flowing around us in a field of energy called the aura. When working with our mental wellness, Reiki can help promote greater flow and awareness of our internal and external selves. Our thoughts, conscious or subconscious, influence our energy flow, sometimes in the form of blockages, and we find ourselves unsettled. Reiki sessions work to help clear, align, and heal energy pathways to achieve higher levels of consciousness.
Your session will include 20 minutes of Reiki along with 10 minutes of reflection. Sessions provide hands on Reiki or hands hovering, which offer the same benefits. We can integrate use of oracle cards, sound healing, and aromatherapy to promote overall comfort, care, and relaxation.
